As i stated in video people will give her a challenge but she will always come out on top or what do you think?I'm a guy and I watch American Idol every week and, unfortunately, I get judged for it. People tell me that Idol sucks and that it's "gay,"I say sorry in behalf of all the "Filipino Pride" stuff in here. I agree that it is pride without substance but please understand because as I see it, it is the Filipino's exit door from the country's growing pains. Seeing someone of our blood rise up(well whatever the current nationality of her is, she still has Filipino blood) offers someone somehow an exit door from the stress to the thinking that you are special. And it is important for us to feel that way since we are below the ranks. whatever the fuck that means. I watch the show because of singers like Jessica; they are able to transcend music in such a way that they carry you with them along with every note. Jessica did exactly that with this performance. I'm so happy and grateful for her. It will be a great shame if she doesn't at least make the finale.

Carmelo's Laser Pass - Knicks vs. Magic

The Knicks enter play Wednesday two games ahead of the Bucks for eighth place in the Eastern Conference. They will play ten of their final 16 games against teams over .500, beginning Wednesday night against Orlando.

MORE MINUTES FOR TONEY? With Jeremy Lin out for the second straight game with a sore left knee, Baron Davis will start.

Davis had an uneven performance in place of Lin during Monday's win over Milwaukee, scoring 13 points on 3-of-12 shooting with seven assists and nine turnovers in 34 minutes.

Mike Woodson said Davis can't handle playing 30-plus minutes on Wednesday, so he will turn to Mike Bibby and seldom-used Toney Douglas to spell the veteran.

Douglas has played just seven minutes in the past five weeks.

"Mike and Toney will play a bigger role now in terms of trying to lighten up (Davis') minutes," Woodson said on Wednesday. "It's hard to try to play three point guards but I've got to try to figure that out as a coach as we go along."

ALL ON MELO? With Lin out and Amare Stoudemire sidelined for at least two weeks, the ball will likely be in Carmelo Anthony's hands a lot on Wednesday night. And he's just fine with that.

"I just want to step up," Anthony said on Wednesday. "That’s it. I got to take on that responsibility to try and win these basketball games. I’ve been in situations like this before: must wins, people hurt, people injured, sitting out. Some games we won. Some games we lost."

The Knicks won on Monday thanks in part to 28 points from Anthony. He's averaging 28.6 points lifetime against the Magic -- his best versus any team except the 29.9 he averaged against the Knicks while with Denver.

DEFENSE UNDER WOODY: In eight games under Woodson, the Knicks are allowing 89 points per 100 possessions. In Mike D'Antoni's last 10 games, they gave up 103, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Miss Universe Canada Disqualifies Transsexual Contestant

Support for Jenna Talackova, the beauty queen disqualified from the Miss Universe Canada pageant because she is transgender, is skyrocketing.

A change.org petition calling for the 23-year-old Vancouver native to be allowed to compete for the crown has so far drawn over 20,000 signatures. "She is a woman and deserves to be treated as any other woman would be," the petition reads. "What kind of genitals she was or was not born with (and even what kind of genitals she has today) is completely irrelevant."The national director of Miss Universe Canada says pageant organizers were simply following the rules when they pulled a transgendered finalist from the competition, flatly denying Jenna Talackova's claim that she was a victim of discrimination.

"We have to have the facts straight. There is no discrimination here at all," Denis Davila told CTV News. "You can look at it the way she wants to look at it ... but we all have to follow the same rules."

With her long blonde locks and even longer legs, Talackova looks every inch the beauty queen.

But the Vancouver native was born a male, a fact she failed to note on her entry form for this year's Miss Universe Canada pageant.

The rules for the pageant franchise state that each contestant must be a "naturally born female."

Film Director James Cameron has returned from the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific Ocean, the deepest point on Earth. He made the 11-km descent alone in a specially made mini-submarine. The director of Avatar and Titanic spent six hours filming his underwater exploration for a documentary programme he intends to release.

Kardashian was reportedly posing for photos on the red carpet when a woman threw a bag of white flour at her -- coating the star.

Security ushered the star from the area immediately following the attack.

Other members of the Kardashian clan were also in attendance, however, where not 'floured.'

The woman who threw the flour was arrested, according to reports.

Teen retailer Hot Topic Inc said it has sold out some of its merchandise for "The Hunger Games" even before the highly anticipated, post-apocalyptic film opens in theaters on Friday.

The movie, based on the book by author Suzanne Collins, is about children forced into a fight to the death and is touted to be one of the year's biggest hits.

Companies like eBay Inc and Toys R Us Inc are also selling related merchandise but Hot Topic, which makes most of its money from such licenses, has the broadest assortment including T-shirts, wallets, bags, jewelry, watches and even nail polish.

Shares of Hot Topic have risen over 50 percent so far this year, though retail experts warned investors not to bank on a sustainable boost from "The Hunger Games," pointing to the company's experience in licensing another teen blockbuster, the "Twilight" series.

California-based Hot Topic, known for its band and movie merchandise, got an unprecedented boost in 2009 from selling "Twilight" merchandise, making it one of the best performers in the teen retail segment. The stock more than doubled in the six months from November to April that year.

Trayvon Martin Case: Justice Department To Investigate Fatal

The announcement comes as the drumbeat around the case continues to grow, becoming national news and shining a brighter media spotlight on the city of Sanford, where the killing occurred, and its police department, which handled the initial investigation that so far has failed to bring charges.

Martin, 17, was shot to death on Feb. 26 by George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain who told police he fired in self-defense. Zimmerman confronted the teen after calling 911 and reporting Martin as a "suspicious person." Though a dispatcher told Zimmerman not to follow the teen, Zimmerman confronted him nevertheless, police said. Martin died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Mexico Earthquake 2012: 7.4-Magnitude

A strong 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit Mexico on Tuesday, shaking central and southern parts of the country, collapsing a pedestrian bridge and swaying buildings in Mexico City. Plaster fell from ceilings and windows broke in the center of the capital, but the president said there were no immediate reports of major damage.

The initial quake near the borders of Oaxaca and Guerrero states was followed by a less powerful, magnitude-5.1 aftershock that also was felt in the capital.

Lehigh became the sixth No. 15 seed to beat a No. 2 and the first since Norfolk State pulled off the trick earlier in the day.
Duke dropped its first tournament game for only the second time in the past 16 years, and this one occurred just 55 miles from its campus.
The Blue Devils had no answer for McCollum, a speedy guard who's a two-time Patriot League player of the year and the nation's fifth-leading scorer.
It didn't help that the Blue Devils hit just 6 of 26 shots from 3-point range.
Lehigh (27-7) led most of the game, drawing support from North Carolina fans who borrowed brown signs from Mountain Hawks supporters that read "Go Lehigh" to root against their rivals.Poor quality but... if you want to relive it. American Idol 2012: Jessica Sanchez, Charice & Catherine
